I will be presenting on The Lunar Cycle and Shadow Work at the Empowered Modern Witches summit.

As a luminary that shifts its expression between brilliant and obscured each month, the Moon is the perfect representation of the essential interplay of light and dark within us. In this presentation, I will guide us through the practice of using the lunar cycle to go deeper into our shadows and unlock our true desires.

This event is fully remote, free, open to all, and occurs on Wednesday, September 25th at 10:00 am - 11:00 am PST.

In this fully remote, 3-hour workshop, we will look at writers who incorporate illustrations, collage, photography, graphs, and other images into their work, including Eduardo Galeano, Kurt Vonnegut, Lina Maria Ferreira Cabeza-Venegas, Anne Carson, Renee Gladman, Julie Delporte, and Ander Monson, among others.

We will create our own graphic narratives using a variety of methods, including free writing, collage, comic panels, and found imagery. Writers will leave the workshop with an expanded sense of graphic narrative possibilities, new techniques, and several pages of visual writing. Makers of all levels are welcome!
